We recommend children should be 7+ years to use the VR/AR Headset, and only under adult supervision. Vodiac VR videos can be experienced in Phone Mode (non-VR) by simply using your smartphones screen.

Yes. To unlock the full slate of VR videos you will need to download the Vodiac VR video app from the relevant app store.
The free downloadable Vodiac VR app required to use your VR Headset is compatible with nearly all new and most relatively-new Apple (iOS) and Android smartphones.

There are no restrictions to using your smartphone which drives the VR headset from using any other 3rd party VR applications.
You will see simple instructions, these will help you get the best experience from your VR Headset and the Vodiac VR app.
Watch out for the small ‘Circle Icon’ in the screen look at this focusing your eyes on this circle - the circle will start to fill-in when it completes the VR experience will start.
Please make sure the blue comfort mask is fully extended and that the plastic protective coverings have been removed from the headset’ lenses.
Additionally please make sure the phone is placed in the middle of the front compartment. Finally, you can adjust the two optical axis buttons on the top of the headset to make certain the image is focused clearly.

No, your VR Headset and and your smartphone are all you need to enjoy the Vodiac VR video service - we’ll e-mail you with future adventures as they become available.
You can access all the amazing VR video content in either mode. For a truly immersive experience, wearing the VR Headset is preferred. However, you can also use a smartphone without the VR Headset to enjoy a less immersive version of the VR videos.
Firstly, please make sure your phone is not in ‘Silent Mode’. You can then use your phone’s volume controls to adjust the sound levels. There is no way to change the volume from the app itself. For the very best experience we recommend using bluetooth earphones.
Follow the instructions in the headset.
Adjust your gaze to place the ‘Arrow Icon’ inside the ‘Circle Icon’ in the middle of your view. Once activated, the control settings will appear on the screen that allow you to fast-forward, rewind, pause, play and exit the experience.
If you have purchased a headset, you will find the activation code for full access to the Launch Edition complete content library in the box. If you have downloaded the app from the app store without purchasing your Vodiac VR headset, you will get 7 VR videos included in the download.

If you are trying to sign into the app on a different device first check that the phone is compatible by going to: https://www.vodiac.com/pages/supported-devices
If the phone is supported then please log out of the old phone first. This can be done by pressing the profile icon at the top right of the Vodiac app and then press “sign out” You can then sign into the new phone after downloading the app and using your email ad- dress and password used for the account. Please click the “Sign In” option on the app and not “get started”. You do not need to use your activation code again or re-register.
Please note that Vodiac headsets purchased used and were the activation code has already been claimed cannot be activated on a new account.
If none of the above troubleshooting steps work please supply us with your order number, email address used for the account and your Vodiac Activation Code.

Using our headset with other VR apps should be fine, however as it is untested by Vodiac we cannot give advice on this.

Many people who wear glasses find that they don’t need them while using the VR Headset. The lenses can be adjusted using the optical axis buttons on the top of the headsets to provide a clear image.
If you do still need to wear your glasses, the Vodiac VR Headset can accommodate most frames with a comfortable fit under the blue comfort mask. If you have large-framed glasses, you may not be able to wear them with the VR Headset.
You can clean your VR Headset with an antibacterial wet wipe and let it try before you use it again.
There are three potential reasons:
1. You are watching the experience in Non-VR mode but using the VR Goggles - please reload and select “View in VR"
2. You have not removed the lens protection film - please ensure this is removed.
3. Adjust the view controllers on the top of the headset to refine the focus.
